PRAGMA Mirror probes five AI surfaces — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overview — every morning at 5:30 ET. It asks each surface a set of buyer-intent questions like "best AI visibility service for local businesses" and reads the answer. It counts brand mentions, extracts URL citations, classifies sentiment, ranks position against named competitors, and rolls everything into a single 0–100 composite called AIVI.
Why we show it publicly
Every PRAGMA client gets this dashboard for their own business. Showing ours alongside theirs is the simplest form of accountability. If we tell a sign company in Florida that AIVI 67 is fine but 84 is better, our own number had better be in the same conversation.
Yoast charges $358.80 a year for the cloud-hosted equivalent. We build it into every subscription at no separate line item. The full reasoning is in the build-vs-buy piece.
Many brands, one instrument
The same probe runs unchanged across every business we measure — including PRAGMA itself (this page) and a 40-year national operator that ran the system before we sold a single engagement. Each gets a tailored question list and a named-competitor benchmark. Each dashboard is identical in structure and runs on the same primitive — because a ruler that changes shape per subject isn’t a ruler.
